A major programme to refurbish the building internally and externally in this sensitive conservation area is being undertaken
The external works involve the complete fabric of the building, roofs, windows, brickwork etc, and include new extract ducting from the restaurant kitchens
Internally the restaurant has been completely remodelled and refurbished on both floors, new flooring, ceilings, lighting, decorations, seating etc being carried out over a 5 week period. The work included a new bar and back bar, together with all the associated mechanical electrical and data works

All the existing fixtures and fittings were removed, a completely new hardwood floor laid throughout, and new fixed banquet seating manufactured and installed
A new bar was built, new waiter stations with modern data networks installed, and a new feature fireplace fitted
The lighting inside and out was upgraded and the mechanical and electrical installations to the kitchens altered to suit the new kitchen equipment

The mezzanine floor was opened up to provide a gallery, with a new special circular handrail and balustrade. New seating and fixed and movable tables were installed, the windows refurbished, new flooring laid and the restaurant completely re-decorated
The mechanical and electrical services were adapted and renewed for the new kitchens and servery, and new lighting installed throughout
